Meet Rio, a stunning and solid 16.2hh 10-year-old Thoroughbred gelding with the temperament everyone is searching for. This kind, eager-to-please guy is the total package—smart, willing, and SAFE.

Rio is well-started and happily works WTC both in the arena and out on the trails. He goes comfortably in either English or Western tack and is the kind of ride that adapts to whatever direction you want to take him.

He’s just beginning pole and grid work and is already showing great promise over fences. With his natural balance and rhythm, there’s no doubt he’ll shine in the jumper or hunter ring. He’s also been introduced to some basic dressage work, which has helped develop his suppleness and body awareness. Lead changes are coming along nicely—he offers auto changes about 60% of the time.
